The next women in the room.

Unmuted opens again on Monday 12 October and runs for four weeks, with a deliberately small cohort of around ten women. The priority list is how you get first access, and how you hear the moment doors officially open.

"You were never quiet. You were muted."

Gayle McVea

You know this feeling

You are experienced, prepared and more than capable. And still there are rooms where what you actually think does not make it out of your mouth.

You rehearse it and say nothing. You soften it until the point stops sounding like a point. Someone else says your idea and the room responds. You know exactly what you should have said, hours later, when it is no longer useful.

This is not who you are. It is a communication habit, built over years of reading rooms that did not always respond well when you spoke up. Habits can be named. And once named, they can be changed.

Four weeks, a small group, and the voice you have been managing down.

"Not louder - more recognisably you."

You begin with your Voice Assessment before the programme starts, so we know your specific pattern from day one. From there, each week has a rhythm: a recorded session to watch in your own time, then a live session to embed the learning and work on your own situations in real time.

  • A recorded session each weekThe weekly module, delivered in full, watched whenever it suits you.
  • A live session each weekWhere the learning gets embedded and applied to what you are actually facing.
  • A small groupSenior women doing the same work, in a room small enough to speak in.
  • Frameworks, not adviceLanguage you can reach for in the moment, so you take back control of your voice and the situation.

£497. No surprises when the doors open.

The art of the possible

Four weeks from now, the room sounds different.

Not because you have become someone else. Because you finally have the language to be entirely yourself, at the moment it counts.

You rehearse it and say nothing

You say it first, and you say it once

You soften and over-explain

You make the point, and let it land

You get talked over

You hold your ground without hardening

You replay it on the drive home

You leave knowing you were heard

You wait to be invited in

You take the space that is yours

The work is not about becoming louder. It is about becoming unmistakable.

"

Gayle put us all at ease from the start, challenged and encouraged us to put our learning into practice and armed us with clear and practical tools and techniques that we can use over and over again in every day settings.

This course has genuinely been transformative. I am leaving the programme feeling more assured, more intentional, and far better equipped to lead with visibility and impact.

Charlene

"

It helped me reconnect with my confidence and reclaim my voice as a woman in professional spaces. I am leaving this course feeling empowered and ready to speak up with confidence again.

Your Voice Strategist

I'm Gayle McVea.

I spent twenty years in senior leadership navigating rooms that didn't always respond well when I spoke up. I know what it is like to prepare meticulously, walk into a meeting, and still come away having said less than half of what I planned.

I am a Voice Strategist for women in leadership. Not a therapist. Not a wellbeing coach. Unmuted is the programme I wish had existed when I needed it. The next cohort begins on Monday 12 October.
