Voice Strategist for Women in Leadership

Most women in leadership aren't quiet. They're muted.

There is a difference between not having a voice and having your voice suppressed. I help women in leadership find the specific pattern that's muting them, and give them the tools to interrupt it. In the room. In real time. Not in six months.

That work happens two ways: 1:1, where the work is built entirely around your situation, or inside Unmuted, my 4-week group programme, next running from Monday 12 October. Either way, a free assessment names your pattern first.

1:1 Voice & Leadership Coaching

You know your worth. You've done the work, built the experience, earned the room.

And still, in the moments that matter, you hold back. You over-prepare. You soften the point until it barely lands. You walk out of the meeting replaying what you should have said.

That's not a confidence problem. It's a pattern. And patterns can change.

Working 1:1 with me, you get clear on what you actually want, and the steps to get there. Not generic advice. Not someone else's framework forced onto your situation. Your goals, your patterns, your pathway forward.

You leave each session with something you can use straight away, in the next meeting, the next conversation, the next moment it counts.

What working with me looks like

I'm a coach, not a therapist or counsellor. I don't hand you answers. I don't tell you what to do.

I ask the questions that help you find what's already there. I help you see the pattern behind the habit. I hold you accountable to the goals you set, and I challenge you, kindly but directly, when you're playing small.

Every session moves somewhere. Awareness first: understanding what's really going on and what it's costing you. Then tools: practical, simple, repeatable steps. Then embedding: putting it into practice in your real conversations, your real meetings, your real leadership.

Whatever's loudest for you right now, a difficult conversation, a promotion you want to go for, a pattern of getting talked over, we start there.

About Gayle

I'm a Voice Strategist for women in leadership.

I spent twenty years in a senior leadership role inside one of the UK's largest organisations, navigating the rooms, the politics, the moments where your voice is either heard or it isn't. I know what it costs when it isn't.

I left that career with something more useful than hindsight: a framework for what actually changes communication. Not confidence advice, not mindset work, but the specific, practical tools that work in the moment your voice goes quiet.

I now run two businesses. I am a certified mentor, I hold a degree in Educational Studies, and I have over 400 hours of coaching experience working with professional women in leadership. I understand how people learn, not just what they need to know, but how they need to experience it to make it stick.

That is what Unmuted is built on. Not theory. Not generic advice. Twenty years of being in those rooms, followed by years of helping other women navigate them better than I did.

In their own words.

"

Gayle was absolutely fantastic, she helped me set some goals and we worked through why those goals were important to me and the steps for how I could achieve the goals. I felt understood and acknowledged by Gayle in all of our sessions, and I achieved my main goal that I had set just before our last session. I could not have done this without Gayle's amazing support and guidance.

"

Gayle is an excellent coach and my sessions with her are always enlightening, opening up options I'd not considered and giving me the confidence and perspective to move forwards towards my goals. She's always welcoming, friendly, curious and compassionate, and able to challenge me in sensitive but constructive ways. She allows me space to think and process my thoughts, while always keeping the discussion on track and heading in the right direction.

Natalie
"

Gayle helped me to organise my goals and put them into manageable steps. I felt very comfortable and heard from the very beginning which helped me be open and honest. It was an excellent experience right from the start and I made steps I didn't think were possible.

"

Gayle has helped me to face challenges within my business by learning to prioritise what's important, what makes me happy and what is it that I want to achieve in my business. I feel that from our time together I have gained a lot more confidence in myself and my work, knowing that I have the correct tools to do so.

The sessions were both positive and grounding, offering a valuable opportunity for self-reflection. It encouraged deeper awareness of my thoughts, behaviors, and the choices I make. One of the key takeaways was the importance of challenging myself to step outside of my comfort zone and embrace discomfort as a space for growth.

Emma
"

Gayle armed us with clear and practical tools and techniques that we can use over and over again in everyday settings.

Today I can confidently use my voice and gain back the space during meetings. They seemed small steps, but they were game-changers.
